1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, "We", "us", "our", "ours" refers to Peace Wallet. "You", "your", "yours" refers to a customer or Peace Wallet account "User".
2. About the Service
Peace Wallet provides an electronic service platform that allows Users to securely store, send, and receive USDT (Tether) and other supported digital assets. Peace Wallet provides a platform for digital asset management and does not engage in trading as a buyer or seller.
A User must register for the Peace Wallet service, open an account, complete identity verification, and then deposit digital assets before using our Services.
3. Agreement Binding
This Agreement is legally binding on Users in their dealings with Peace Wallet; therefore, Users are advised to read and understand the Terms and Conditions before using the Services.
You will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by the terms of this User Agreement by registering, logging in, and using the Peace Wallet application or Services.
4. Account Registration
To use Peace Wallet, you need to download our application and open a new Peace Wallet account. For opening an account, you must enter your real name, personal information, residential address, phone number, email address, and password, and accept the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Upon special circumstances, Peace Wallet has the right to reject registration or account opening.
At the time of using the Peace Wallet service, you will be deemed to have agreed that all information in the Terms of Services are accurate and complete.
5. Identity Verification and Fraud Prevention
By registering with Peace Wallet and opening an account, you agree to provide your personal information. The information collected will be used to detect money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other economic crimes on the Peace Wallet platform.
Peace Wallet is entitled to contact you directly or through a third party to verify your identity. To verify your identity, we may obtain information including but not limited to: your name, email address, contact information, phone number, and identification documents.
6. Eligibility
To use Peace Wallet Services, you must be at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction. If you do not meet this requirement, you and your guardian will be fully responsible for your actions and Peace Wallet will have the right to cancel your registration.
You shall guarantee that you are not on the list of trade or economic sanctions at the time of accessing and using the Peace Wallet service.
7. Account Security
Peace Wallet shall not ask the User for any password and does not require a transfer of assets not registered on the platform. You shall not let any other person use your credentials to access your account on Peace Wallet service.
You need to be careful when you receive messages about discounts or promotions, as they can be fraudulent. Peace Wallet shall not be held liable for any damages arising from the above circumstances.
8. User Obligations
The User is obliged to comply with the domestic legislation when using the Peace Wallet service. Tax payments, deductions, and reporting must be governed by domestic law and legislation.
All Users of Peace Wallet Services acknowledge that the source of their funds is legitimate and that they have not obtained it through illegal activities. Peace Wallet will collaborate with law enforcement agencies to close and cancel the accounts and assets of Users under investigation.
9. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use Peace Wallet Services for:
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any illegal activities
- Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices
- Registration of multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions
- Abusive, threatening, or hostile behavior towards platform users and staff
- Attempting to hack, disrupt, or compromise our systems
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
10. Withdrawals
The User may send a request to withdraw their digital assets following the Terms and Conditions.
If any digital asset held by the User is no longer supported by the Peace Wallet platform, and the balance is less than the minimum withdrawal amount, Peace Wallet may convert such asset into a stablecoin at the exchange rate of the day when the asset was removed, and transfer it to the User's account.
11. Platform Disclaimer
Peace Wallet maintains the accuracy of the information posted on the platform, however, it does not guarantee consistency, accuracy, reliability, or integrity of the content and is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused by the content.
The information posted on the Peace Wallet platform can be modified without notifying Users. Peace Wallet does not provide investment advice and is not responsible for any information or comments posted on its platform or in other media.
The User should be aware of the risks involved before using the Peace Wallet service. Peace Wallet advises all Users to act carefully and responsibly.
12. Platform Operations
Peace Wallet shall pay special attention to the protection of the platform to ensure continuity and security of its services, and will issue a notice during downtime and maintenance for technical reasons.
Peace Wallet is entitled to cancel, reverse, or close abnormal transactions made on its platform.
13. Limitation of Liability
Peace Wallet shall not bear responsibility for natural disasters, force majeure, government regulation, hacking attempts, terrorist attacks, and other unforeseen circumstances.
Under no circumstances is Peace Wallet responsible for any service failures or delays caused by external factors such as power outages, natural disasters, service provider-side issues, or government operations and routine network maintenance.
14. Indemnification
By entering into this Agreement, you agree that you are obligated to compensate for all damages (including attorney's fees and penalties imposed by the relevant authorities) in the event of a breach, and to indemnify Peace Wallet, its subsidiaries, contractors, licensors, its directors, employees, and agents. This section shall also apply in cases of your violation of applicable laws, regulations, or third party rights while using Peace Wallet services.
15. Account Suspension and Termination
If any account is found to be in breach of the Terms of Services, Privacy Policy, AML Policy, and applicable laws and regulations, Peace Wallet will be entitled to immediately close the account, lock all funds in the account, and suspend access to the Peace Wallet services.
16. Privacy Policy
Peace Wallet will post the Privacy Policy and any amendments to it on its platform and announce it from time to time. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of this User Agreement.
Peace Wallet shall have the right to store and use account transaction information and other relevant information in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is subject to Cambodian laws. Peace Wallet is entitled to select the market in which it operates and to prohibit or restrict the provision of services in certain countries.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement or Services shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in the Kingdom of Cambodia in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the National Commercial Arbitration Center. The User would be responsible for the costs of dispute resolution.
18. Changes to Terms
Peace Wallet reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will post the updated Terms on our platform and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of Peace Wallet Services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
